Hello and welcome to my personal blog site!

My name is Rubianto Satrio, and I am a husband, a father of three wonderful grown-up children, and a management professional. I am also a Catholic and a first-generation Asian-American.

I live with my wife Lili in Frisco, Texas, and we belong to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Indonesian Catholic Community organization in Dallas-Fort Worth (ICC-DFW).

In this blog site, I’d like to share my personal reflections as I journey through mid-life in the 21st-century America. My stories celebrate the wonderful moments and opportunities, as well as the challenges, that this new century brings to my generation.

A quote that I love says:

Urgent things are seldom important. Important things are seldom urgent.

Hence my blogs are also my effort to pause and ponder on those important (and often simple) things in life, and I hope they’ll invite you to do the same.

In addition to this blog site, I publish my stories on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

Thank you for visiting my website!
